A writer. I love to write programs and I love to write books.

I currently use Python, but want to learn Haskell. First learned language is Pascal, first language that I worked with is PL\SQL.

comment Where and how to look for a picture for illustration?
@Fox I rely on fact that talented amateurs are far more common on these sites. On Flickr photos even grouped by licensing: flickr.com/creativecommons But your point is certainly right.

comment How do you deal with procrastination when writing?
@John It is not a duplicate. Your question is more about how to deal with distraction and oneself writing discipline, and this is more about freshness of ideas.

comment How do you track random thoughts and ideas?
@JFW They are all stored in different folders, and every section has it's own file. That's why I love ON: it's very difficult to lose your data. You can unpainfully synchronize with flash drive, web or phone(I even heard of 3rd side IPhone app). And there is always great ON+Dropbox combo (it was useful when MS didn't have their office online, now there is Live data storage presented)

@JFW Examples: I use section groups in Readings notebook. They organize knowledge areas: here are books for business, here are for programming and here is math. All of this areas has it's subareas, and that subareas are sections in my notebooks. Hope I cleared something for you, but notebook organization is really better to see once. :)
