Where are the best places to promote tech books? I don't have any saved off-hand, but you can get a feel for the sort of thing that appears by looking through searchyc.com/book. In particular, take a look at, for instance, news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1275259. There's also the quite interesting hn-books.com project. |

Do You Use Any Version Controlling Software/Methods As Writers? Of course, any DVCS can be easily copied around. And I'd generally avoid calling a VCS with builtin issue tracker, wiki, and webserver "light weight". |
