Is Mac OSX Lion's Revision Control System useable by writers? Why the downvotes, guys? @Ernest: No way. It's quite likely that this would be the first time and the first system that many writers use for revision control. Easy, simple to use. |

Is the iPad a convenient medium for writing work? @RobotNerd A bit late, but wireless keyboard would be the most optimal tool to write on the iPad, would it not? |

How should I go with hiring an illustrator for a webcomic? DeviantArt is a good place to source talent relating to Art and Design. |

Do Writers Use LaTex/TeX for writing? Hmm... ... I remember reading that people usually start writing in LaTex instead of converting text within LaTex itself. |

Do I need to register my work to retain copyright? What if the work was lost or intercepted and published by someone else? |

Out of this world… Giving it time? If you don't mind, could you tell me what software you are using to organise your fantasy story? It sounds quite interesting. :) |

How do you track random thoughts and ideas? @Daniel Amazing setup. :) Do you have all the notebooks (Personal, Work, ...) in one huge container OneNote file, or are they separately managed? |

Is touch typing skill important for being a good writer? An extremely useful skill to learn, even if one isn't writing. It is immensely helpful when taking notes in class, because I can literally write everything that is said throughout the class. |

How do you track random thoughts and ideas? Any advice on organising notebooks in OneNote? I personally use Evernote myself to organise notes, web clippings, ideas, ... and use the tagging system to trawl through the files. I've seen a friend use OneNote and the pages seemed quite disorganised. I like the idea of OneNote, but I haven't seen any good ways of using it as a note-taking program. |

How do you track random thoughts and ideas? Moleskine is an excellent brand of notebooks. I use the Moleskine Sketchbook for my drawings and ideas. (This is because only the Sketchbook can take my thick and inky pen.) Which book and pen do you use? I find that all the pens that I use "leak" and go through to the opposite page when I write on it. |

For Fantasy Stories, Should You Include a Map At the Beginning of the Book? I think the Inheritance Cycle describes and allows the reader to visualise the world excellently, yet it also has a map at the beginning of the book. |

Do You Use Any Version Controlling Software/Methods As Writers? Not really related, because I'm looking for a solution/workflow that writers use when writing. |
