I don't have statistics, but I'm more likely to ignore articles on the web and in print if they contain a "list headline". In my experience the article below such a headline is more likely to be clickbait garbage, spread over as many pages as there are list items. List headlines are sure signs of sleazy marketeers being at work.

Incorrect. Some companies (IBM is one, as I recall) and e.g. the US Army require blank pages to have the "intentionally left blank" legend.
