Character Development - How much is too much? Not necessarily. If I understand you properly, a minor event can be the best way to show a character's personality. The bad development would be leaving nothing for the reader to figure out, I guess, and that can easily happen with too much development. I'm not saying it's always a good idea, but there is definitely no limit IMO. |

Is there a special software for writers? MGOwen: I disagree. For a person like me who's running a pretty craptastic laptop, Word takes up a lot of resources and tends to lag my system a bit. Not a big deal when I'm writing a paper for a class, but if I'm working on a long-term personal project, it's too bloated to be practical. I love Word, but an editor like yWriter really is better suited to writing. |
