What are some examples of modern original plots? Why do people read poetry? A lot of poetry involves a kind of plot, but the main goal of poetry is not really telling a story as it is a stylistical exercise. |

What are some examples of modern original plots? Many modern novels therefore drop the resolution of the problem. Some even drop the problem altogether and are just about setting scenes. |

Is this character generator useful? I don't know, but when I read generator, I assumed it would be something like this for instance. Except for characters. |

How does one implement effective foreshadowing? I edited my reply to answer. The answer is vague of course, but that's because it will strongly depend on the kind of story and situation you are describing. There is a manga artist who in my opinion is a true master in the art of foreshadowing, it's Yoshihiro Togashi. Especially in his Hunter x Hunter series. In literature, I would take detective stories or stories that have a detective component as examples. Doyle, Dostoievski, but even in Orwell's 1984, there's a lot of foreshadowing. |

How to choose the title for a tales book? I find it strange that you got so far and are struggling over finding a title. Why not pick the title of one of the most representative of better tales and call it something like "X and other tales". |

Fictional diary for a novel That aspect is in the story too. Actually, the boundary between diary/novel/meta-diary/meta-novel is not always clear, but that is typical Moravia. For instance, one chapter he describes some events, next chapter he explains that he didn't reproduce the events truthfully in his diary and he rectifies. It's very interesting, but brainy. If you don't like psychological novels, never read Moravia. |
