I'm not a great pantser; what kind of preparation do I need for NaNoWriMo? Methinks the gauntlet has been thrown down. I have never done a NaNoWriMo, but (nanowrimo.org/eng/user/839293) this is as good an excuse as any, and better than most. |

How can I break up a lengthy explanation? It would work well if you can have it be a discussion, rather than pure exposition. Perhaps if two or more characters get together to drive the knowledge dump, with each having only part of the whole back story? Remember to have parts that they get to disagree on, and you can you can let the snarky comments flow and flesh out the characters some as well. |
