Technical writer currently working on documentation for Windows Embedded products.
How can I consistently distinguish among tables, fields, and records in a database?
This is part of the root of my "who is your audience" question at the top of my answer. All decisions should be made with your audience in mind. My answer is for database/software devs or testers experienced with databases. I like John's for this version, though. There's also the question whether the readers CARE what the database structure actually is. :)
