Do You Use Any Version Controlling Software/Methods As Writers? Also - I host with Wush.Net. Very cheap and very reliable. You can hook in almost any Diff engine with TortoiseSVN or similar. I use Beyond Compare as it does a decent job with Word file formats. UltraCompare is also nice. |

Do You Use Any Version Controlling Software/Methods As Writers? I do the same, but using SyncroSVN because I'm terrified of explorer integration, although it works fine. I've worked in Dropbox directly but found that there are sharing locks that happen when I'm doing that sometimes. I either PAUSE Dropbox for my work session or work outside of dropbox and copy it in. I also use SyncBack to do schedule backups (as ZIPs) of my working files to a Dropbox\Backup folder once or twice a day. |
