Ways to speed up my writing to 15 - 20 pages a day My main reason is to be more productive ;). And by "productive" I mean more thoughts, more mistakes, more ideas, more "everything". I believe that learning from your own experience is the most accurate for the way how my brain works. I think that if I speed up my writing then I automatically force my brain to work with my thoughts faster too. Like a juggler who can after a while juggle 5 or even 7 balls because his muscle memory and brain exposed to the everyday physical drill. |

Tips for writing sentences like a native speaker I think that PBS tunein.com/radio/PBS-Newshour-p47926 and NPR npr.org/player/v2/… are probably your best bet when you don't want listen to squeaky jingles and a lot of advertisement . As far as I know PBS and NPR are the only networks thata are not exclusively funded by commercials (except college radio/tv stations, of course). NPR & PBS are funded by public too and not exclusively from commercials, so therefor less "agressive" and "tabloid". E.g. I cannot stand how "obnoxious" anchors from FOX, CNN are for me (I am from Europe). |

Which well-established vanity publishers offer publishing for money and how much money is enough? Thanks Neil very much for the up vote. I know the difference, but I am not very good in English. However, my book will be dealing with touchy "political" subject and I can assure you that none of the traditional publishers will publish it. It will be translated from my native language to English, but I need to find out some vanity publisher who can do all the distribution and marketing on the US market if I pay him money. It has nothing to do with loosing of my honor etc. It will probably also be my last book, because of that subject. And no, it's not 'bout Mohammad ;) |

However, could you be a little more concrete and put some names.urls of that vanity publishers taht have bad reputation? Because, it seems to me like "my brother heard that from..." you know, it sounds to me like a mystification. Don't get me wrong but I like facts and numbers. So, please, provide names of that companies. if possible and you know them. Thanks in advance. |

I was asking "Which " and not "Why". I am looking for facts. I am not interesting in opinion if this is the right way of publishing books. You might be surprised, but I have read a lot about POD. So, to make it short, please, provide some relevant URL links or Names of vanity publishers, whom I can send an email to ask more. If you have personal experience, you can answer the second part of my question, how much does it cost and if 50k, 100k or 500k is enough for the things I have described. |
