How do authors gain strong familiarity with archaic and extremely rare words? Examples forthcoming. No time now, will be back tonight. |

How do authors gain strong familiarity with archaic and extremely rare words? I'm afraid to name any. You might just be like Ah ha ha but I am the Lauren Ipsum and this is a word I use daily over breakfast. |

How to tell a story with the least amount of writing? Addendum for the monolingual: le mot juste is the right word. Tu parles français, Lauren? Ou tu sais des phrases diverses? |

Troubles with unfamiliar locations and settings based in the real world Please don't call him Howard. He has a name. It's H.P. |

How about a story as a series of anecdotes? Also-- you do not need a plot. See my answer below. |

What genre appeals to the widest audience? If your question here is at all indicative of your general writing style, you might want to continue a bit further down the path of learning English before you start trying to "hit everyone's interest." |

What genre appeals to the widest audience? This question did not deserve an answer of that length. Seriously. |

Very long sentences: personal style or just bad writing? I would actually say that's rather good writing. Stylistic. So long as it doesn't dominate the entire narrative, in which case it would definitely take its toll on the reader. |

How can I develop my ideas? @Standback I just want to note that I keep coming back to this question, and every time I do, I pause to take a distinct pleasure in your placement of ellipses in that sentence. |
