The annoying thing is there is probably a series called "Clodhopper" that would be as big as Twilight, but has been rejected by 25 agents, and the author has given up. It is a tough market - I say as someone who is looking for an agent currently.

@MonicaCellio - yes, but if the book as a technical one can be used to do self-learning or such like, it makes sense. This even applies if the main usage is for reference, or bedtime reading.
