Aspiring science fiction novelist and short-story writer. Software engineer and Biblical scholar by education. Maker by trade.
As an aside, my cat rocks... if she had thumbs she would probably be a better writer than me. ^_^

Are there any good tablets out there for writing/editing? If you're brave, with Android the possibilities are endless. I have rooted (unlocked) all of my Android devices and swapped out the stock operating systems. You would be amazed at the performance boost you can get when you remove all the junk and optimize battery performance. |

How would I find a publisher who is accepting unsolicited manuscripts from authors? +1 I really appreciate this question. A lot of aspiring authors need to know this. As far as lists go, I didn't bother because I only know the processes in the sci-fi and fantasy publishing houses and didn't want to be too specific. |

Will science fiction as a genre ever go the way of the western? I love this question... I'm not even sure if it's on topic, but I love it anyway. This demands an encyclopedic response. |

How to cite two volumes in one (Turabian) I would say cite it as 2 vols... If the title is identical then it is the same book(s). The practical question is: would a peer reviewer or objective assessor have any difficulty in finding your source, using your citation? If the answer to that is no, but you are still hesitant about your formatting, you could ask the person or group for whom your work is intended directly. My opinion is, if your citation is functional and you have made every effort to make it syntactically correct, what's left is a question of style and preference. |

Converting ms-word to ebook vs. writing from scratch? This is almost always the case. Good luck, and let us know how it works out for you, I'm definitely curious to hear your feedback. |
