Potential confusion: referring to home planet as “Earth” @NickBedford I know this post was a while ago, and I don't know how much your story has changed - but you may have been misinformed about the Latin word "pexus". It doesn't mean "new" as such; it means woolly, nappy, fuzzy, which can mean new in reference to shoes, fabric, hair, and the like. It doesn't generally mean "new". To be sure, you may know this and have a good reason for choosing it nonetheless. |

Is there a special software for writers? As you can tell from all the answers, there's a lot of software out there, and at least as many opinions. No one software is the "ideal", "right", or "best" software. It depends on what you're trying to write, what your hardware/software platform is, what your preferences are.... It's quite a personal choice! |

Does this paragraph make you want to keep reading? I agree about the oddness of "ever" in the first line. Either Can you remember the last toy you ever bought? or Can you remember the last toy you ever bought? would sound more natural to me. |
