I love Science-Fiction, Fantasy, and all the less easily classified forms of speculative fiction. While my writing is typically within these genres, I will read almost anything, fiction or non-fiction.

Formatting for stage, television, and the silver screen I was hoping for an answer that either contains a good list of formatting rules or links to a good list. Failing that, I've accepted an answer for a book on the subject. I'm not really interested in just buying software that purports to format for me. I should be able to do it myself, if I so choose. Even if I do end up using software, I'm a firm believer in knowing the basics before relying on a software crutch. |

How Much Can You Make From Writing a Book? @Steven - The numbers I had originally posted were rough numbers from "traditional" publishing. Self-publishing electronically will produce significantly different royalty rates. And, as I mentioned, the electronic market is still pretty wild and these numbers may be volatile for some time. |
