A character hears a song on the radio and the lyrics are particularly meaningful for him. Unfortunately, there is virtually no chance of me getting permission to print the lyrics so I will have to cut them. Thank you.

Sounds like I'm out of luck here and will need to remove the lyrics. I publish my own books, so I don't want to get into a potential legal mess. Thank you.
