comment Blog recommendations for children's book writers
Questions that are potentially endless lists of links aren't a good for for this site; the purpose of a Stack Exchange site is to provide canonical answers to specific questions. Closing, sorry.

comment How do I turn off auto date formatting in openoffice writer?
This question isn't about writing; sending it to Superuser. (You may want to add more information to the question, like the OpenOffice version number.)

comment How to punctuate the synonym to a word or phrase?
Questions asking for proofreading or rephrasing are off-topic here. I'm going to close this, but please see our site tour for more information about how this site works - it's not a discussion forum, it's a Q&A site on a very specific area.

comment How long does it take to write a 1000 word SEO topic?
This issue is one often faced by freelancers. While this site is the best place to ask about the writing end of the issue (which you've done), you might also find guidance at our Freelancing site, but it would be more about the business end of the transaction.

Sorry, my last comment wasn't complete. I don't think this is a duplicate, but it is a category of question we get asked every so often. To anyone who wants to discuss this, I've opened up a thread on our meta site about the issue.

comment How to make travel stories interesting?
I highly recommend this book: Good Prose: The Art of Nonfiction. In particular, it spends time on the differences between fact and, well, fact presented in story form.

comment How to format the transcript of a telephonic conversation for email?
I'm unclear why you're asking this question. Is there a reason you can't just use one of the templates you can find on the web?

comment How do I find flaws in a character I'm building?
Taking your character trails and projecting them to their logical conclusions, keeping in mind a person's self-interest and need to feel good about themselves, will generally reveal some slightly darker side to a person. This answer makes a lot of sense.

comment How do I find flaws in a character I'm building?
Welcome to Writers! This is a good question about character construction, and I've lightly edited it to be a bit of a better for for this site. Asking for specific suggestions is a bit on the edge of what's on-topic here, but asking for the how in a problem is much more answerable and lends itself to answers that are more useful to others. Please feel free to add to my edits, or revert them if I've changed something critical that should be left as it was.

comment Use of the Oxford comma
The question is about the Oxford Comma - comma use in lists before the "and" - and not about general comma use.
