comment Write a book with “protected” characters/ideas without copyright?
I was with you until you inserted an opinion about the usefulness of copyright registration.

comment Addressing “logo-ification” of an organization's name in their literature
Companies can style things however they like. As an editor/writer working for this company, you can offer to develop a style guide for their printed material if they don't already have one.

comment Peeing Eloquently
Asking what to write is off-topic here. Closing for now. Perhaps you could turn this into a single-word request on English?

comment How can I find and research places to publish fiction?
This question has attracted one good answer, but also several short answers that are mostly a link elsewhere. Placing it on hold until we can edit this into something better.

comment New term for “disk”
Sent this to English; it's off-topic here but may be on-topic there as a single word request.

comment Effective differentiation of dream sequence from “normal text”
I think that this is a suggestion that will work in some cases, but not in many. It's a good answer, though.

comment Effective differentiation of dream sequence from “normal text”
Given how few books are turned into audiobooks and then into movies, I think writing for those ends would be extremely limiting.

Adding something like "how do I narrow down the possibilities" could also help.

comment Traditional vs. Self Publishing… Show me the Money?
Subjective questions aren't a problem here, that's not the issue so as that this question is polling the community, answers will be merely the experiences of various people, which will prohibit the posting of a canonical answer. We'd love to work with you to improve the question if you're willing.

comment How can I stress a certain word in a medium that doesn't allow for font embellishments?
@Tave Quotation marks do not mean something is being emphasized, but that will probably change given enough time. For now, many people will take quotes to mean sarcasm.

comment I am an unestablished author with a decent book. Should I publish online, or try to find a 'real' publisher?
What sources you can provide would be great.

Also, please don't complain about the closure of one question in the body of another question. If you think my closure of your previous question was unwarranted, you can either comment there or open a thread in meta.

comment Traditional vs. Self Publishing… Show me the Money?
It's unclear what numbers you're asking for, or indeed what your question is. Can you please clarify what numbers you want? All situations are different and there's no single type of income stream for writers.

comment How To Write Concisely
Write. Abridge. Repeat until it becomes second-nature; your first drafts will be more concise eventually.

I agree with @KateSherwood - while this would make a great essay or blog post on the topic, an answer with this many numbers needs to have citations. Downvoting for now, but would like to eventually reverse that if this becomes a better answer.
