Writers Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for authors, editors, reviewers, professional writers, and aspiring writers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm looking for specific online-only communities for writing accountability. I know to get better at writing we all need to write and I would like to find groups that allow me to work on consistently produce material. Kind of like the NaNoWriMo concept except all year round.

What keeps you in the chair? Is it something that the rest of us could use too?

Heya! Welcome to the site! I'm closing your question temporarily - we discourage "recommendation" questions such as "what is a good site for X," since those tend to get a lot of single-link answers and that doesn't suit our format. However, if you'd like to edit your question into something more Q&A-ish, we'll be happy to reopen :) – Standback Feb 27 '12 at 22:15
Also, this question touches on similar ground - you might find it helpful or even sufficient: writers.stackexchange.com/questions/38/writing-discipline . – Standback Feb 27 '12 at 22:17
Found it! I think this is what you're after: Developing a daily writing routine – Standback Feb 27 '12 at 22:23
