Writers Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for authors, editors, reviewers, professional writers, and aspiring writers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am a freshman at UC Irvine, and my English professor assigns this extra credit assignment to conduct a survey on topics surrounding reliable information on the internet.

Here are the questions:

  1. How do you define "reliable source(s)"?
  2. How do you usually find "reliable source(s)" on the internet? (Do you go to Google.com or do you go to other websites?)
  3. Do you have any favorite or preferred website(s) to find "reliable source(s)"?
  4. Do you use Wikipedia to find "reliable source(s)"?
  5. Most people often comment that Wikipedia is not a reliable source of information. What is your opinion and/or comment on this issue?
  6. What do you think Wikipedia can or should do to make its website a reliable source of information?
  7. Lastly, do you know any websites which function like wikipedia?

Thank you in advance for taking time to answer my questions. God bless!

How do you know, that we are reliable sources for your survey? – John Smithers Sep 29 '11 at 19:43

Welcome. This is not the kind of site for a question like that. We answer questions about writing, we don't provide source material. I recommend polling your classmates, friends, and family. – justkt Sep 29 '11 at 20:13
